Honours Market at FBE

The Faculty of Business and Economics (FBE) continues to offer Honours education for its students, with AMSIB playing a leading role in its development and delivery.
The vision for the AMSIB Honours Programme builds on the renewed vision and mission of the International Business Programme, as well as previous frameworks for excellence and Honours education at AUAS.
The programme aims to become a leading incubator for global leadership, entrepreneurial innovation, and social responsibility—empowering students to make a meaningful impact on the world.
Key Pillars of the AMSIB Honours Programme:
• Global Mindset and Collaboration
AMSIB Honours students will cultivate a global mindset rooted in cultural diversity and international business expertise. The GPS model—Global Knowledge, Passion, and Social Skills—forms the foundation for developing global leaders and responsible citizens. The programme aims to inspire students to drive positive change and contribute meaningfully across cultures and borders.
• Entrepreneurial Spirit and Resilience
Through experiential learning, Honours students will master international business and lead in the sustainable transformation of business ecosystems and practices. By combining global business acumen with cross-cultural collaboration, students will demonstrate innovation, resilience, and leadership throughout their careers.
• Social Responsibility
The programme emphasizes ethics and social responsibility, promoting inclusive and responsible management, critical self-reflection, and sustainable business practices. It aims to develop leaders who prioritize ethical values and contribute to the economic, social, and environmental advancement of the global community.
Courses Aligned with These Pillars Include:
• Conscious Business (students' projects)
• Global Leadership (connected to SDG research and Knowledge Cafe at the Hillsborough Community College in Tampa/Florida )
• Partners in Peace (in collaboration with the Nobel Peace Institute and Honours institutions in the USA)
• Business Start-up and Team Coaching (related to Co-creative Entrepreneurship)
• Intercultural Communication (COIL with four foreign universities)
