Green Tech & Sustainable Impact: A Student-Led Sustainability Meetup
This student-led initiative was developed and hosted by a member of the MSc Global Sustainable Business Management program (Dorna Beyk). The event brought together students, alumni, faculty, and sustainability professionals to explore the intersection of sustainability, technology, and business transformation.
The goal was to create a meaningful platform for dialogue between academia and industry, focusing on practical insights into AI, green mobility, the circular economy, and corporate sustainability strategy.
The target group included the GSBM students and alumni, but also welcomed external experts from leading organizations. Four guest speakers shared impactful presentations, followed by moderated discussions that encouraged critical thinking and peer learning. The event also featured alumni reflections, offering current students personal insights into post-graduation career paths.
By fostering a collaborative and forward-thinking environment, this initiative empowered students to take ownership of sustainability topics and demonstrated the value of student-driven action in shaping a greener, more responsible business landscape.
