The X-mas Tree

During the Makeathon, a three-week intense production process with the Minor Robotic Production and Circular Materials, a group of students built a Christmas tree using waste wood, digital production and robots. The tree stands 5 meters tall and comprises 26 wooden panels, with every piece of the wood being unique in both dimensions and wood type. The X-mas Tree is currently standing in the Jakoba Mulderhuis for everyone to see. Minor Robotic Production and Circular Materials
